- An aspirant who wishes to take the SBI PO examination must have a degree of graduation in any subject from abroad that has been recognized by the central government.

- The number of attempts depends upon the caste of the aspirant who is willing to appear for the exam. For example, people from the general cast can appear four times, people from other castes can appear seven times, and people from SC or ST have no limit on how many times they can appear in this exam.
